Denise Stutes brings more than a decade of experience to her position as a therapist for Optimae Behavioral Health Services in Southeastern Iowa.
Denise spent her career prior to Optimae as a domestic violence advocate for the courts and an adjunct instructor in sociology at Southeastern Community College. She also worked in an inpatient medical environment including emergency room, critical care, medical/surgical, pediatrics, oncology and obstetrics.
Denise graduated in 2011 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign School of Social Work with her master’s degree. Her accomplishments in school led to her being selected to speak at graduation and awarded the Shirley H. Wattenberg scholarship.
Denise currently serves customers in Fort Madison, Burlington and Mount Pleasant.
