Lauren Flynn serves as a clinical supervisor at Optimae Behavioral Health Services in Central Iowa and currently sees customers in the Des Moines metro area. She has been in the social work field since 2013.
Lauren primarily focuses on anxiety disorders and takes an eclectic approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Prior to Optimae, she worked in hospital, community and private practice settings.
Lauren earned her master’s degree in social work and public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.
