Sept. 1, 2020 (FAIRFIELD) – Optimae LifeServices announced today Mark Mayer, service coordinator in Jefferson County, has been named a frontline supervisor community builder by the Iowa Association of Community Providers.
As noted in his nomination letter, Mayer “knows his job well and exhibits a high degree of emotional intelligence, which gives him the ability to provide clear support to his team on a professional and personal level. This superior style of leadership is not limited to interactions with his team — Mark extends this support to employees across the company, as well as to any customer. He is well respected and appreciated by case managers, co-workers, customers and customers’ family members.”
“Mark provides superior leadership,” said Joanna Smith, director of Optimae’s Southern Prairie region. “He goes above and beyond to help anyone in need, and he treats his customers and staff with dignity and respect.”
Mayer joined the Jefferson County team in January 2012.
“I respect Optimae for the variety of customer-driven services they provide to individuals experiencing mental health concerns,” Mayer said. “Optimae’s vision aligns with my own vision of providing meaningful support and successful outcomes to the individuals they serve. Working with Optimae customers and staff is a privilege and some of the most fulfilling work I have done in my career.”
Mayer was recognized during IACP’s annual conference Aug. 27.
