EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Two (2) years post high school education in a human service related field or two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience serving persons with disabilities is preferred.
- Supervisor experience and knowledge of janitorial skills preferred.
JOB SUMMARY
The Team Lead Job Coach provides job training services to intellectually disabled workers (customers). This position must deliver high quality training services to Optimae customers and is responsible for supporting Optimae customers after job placement to ensure successful workplace orientation and job retention. Strive to maintain a safe, orderly, and clean environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedules customers and location.
- Supervise several customers throughout the day working in multiple locations.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Understand the proper use of janitorial equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Ensure quality and cleanliness while educating customers how to build janitorial and other skills.
- Assist and educate customers in sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, emptying garbage receptacles, lifting and moving objects. Replacing stock and ensuring the quality of educating customers on job execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
- Ability to lift and carry:
up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
up to 40 lbs. rarely. - Normal vision with correction.
- Normal hearing with correction.
- Occasionally be called upon to perform daily duties involving, bending, pivoting, squatting, kneeling and crouching.
