EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Two (2) years of post-high school education in a human service related field or two years of full-time equivalent experience serving persons with disabilities is preferred.
JOB SUMMARY
The role of Team Leader II is to be an accessible, competent resource for employees who work and/or supervise at a specific site. Team Leader IIs are continually assessing and responding to customer needs, site needs, and staff needs. They are role models for the provision of quality services by demonstrating responsible, ethical, customer-centered behaviors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote teamwork and build morale.
- Develop and maintain organizational processes.
- Create and maintain customer files.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Update Service Coordinators regularly regarding overall customer services, site operations, and staff performance.
- Offer input to Service Coordinators in development of individual staff Coaching Sheets.
- Create and maintain customer files (community and site).
- Organize and file contact notes (community and site).
- DSP Quarterly updates.
- Type completed schedules, checking for overlapping times.
- Payee tasks.
- Check e-mails as needed.
- Complete site cleaning checks monthly.
- Complete census checks.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
- Ability to life and carry:
- up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- up to 40 lbs. rarely.
- Normal vision with correction.
- Normal hearing with correction.
- Occasionally be called upon to perform daily duties involving, bending, pivoting, squatting, kneeling and crouching.
