Regional Quality Assurance Specialist
Optimae Life Services in the Cedar Valley Region (Waterloo and Cedar Rapids) is hiring for a Regional Quality Assurance Specialist. This position includes providing direct documentation training to Direct Support Professionals, participating on Optimae Quality Improvement Planning Team, completing weekly quality audits and communicating effectively as part of the Regional Leadership Team.
Other Duties Include:
Complete quality reviews of service documentation and customers charts
Train Direct Support Professionals and Supervisor Staff on regulatory requirements
Organizing and leading monthly safety meetings, safety drills and safety walk-throughs at Waterloo and Cedar Rapids office locations and customer’s site homes.
Participate on Regional and Optimae wide teams
Manage documents for proper and safe storage
Communicate with local teams regarding regulatory changes and quality reviews
Create and articulate quality reports
Bachelor degree preferred. One year experience in HCBS services needed.
