Do you want to make a difference? Are you passionate about helping others? Optimae Behavioral Health Services, a division of Optimae LifeServices, is seeking a full-time Iowa Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the Ames area.
Optimae assists individuals from more than 50 Iowa counties with their mental health, visible and invisible disabilities, and other barriers. We empower our customers to reach their fullest potential by being at their side and on their side.
The Licensed Behavior Analyst supports and implements a plan to help customers overcome social and mental disabilities. This position is involved in assessing customers’ behavior in school, homes and communities, implementing behavioral plans, updating therapy notes to track progress, and communicating with staff, families and teachers in relaying the customer’s needs. The Licensed Behavior Analyst will possess the clinical and analytical skills necessary to assess an individual’s needs for behavioral health services, including the evaluation of the individual’s risk of being a danger to themselves or others.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in behavior analysis
- Licensed in Iowa as a behavior analyst
- Demonstrated competence with verbal and written communications skills and ability to convey psychiatric diagnostic methodology and criteria for analysis
