Optimae Life Services is looking for an HR Specialist to provide human resource services for our Behavioral Health, Home Health and Rehabilitation Services across the company.
The Human Resource Specialist position provides organization and oversight of the HR functions within the Optimae Behavioral Health, Home Health and Rehab Services. They will participate in the HR work group and be highly motivated to quality improvement. This position will assist the Regional Human Resources team as needed. The HR Specialist must be highly skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing and organizing while demonstrating consistently pleasant, professional and courteous behaviors. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Education and Work Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in an office setting and human resources preferred
- Must possess knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Experience with HR management software such as ADP and recruiting websites such as Indeed is preferred
Duties and Responsibilities

- Process and distributes confidential and sensitive information, maintains privacy in all aspects of the job
- Knowledge of Behavioral Health, Home Health an Rehabilitation Services standards
- Create and/or store employee personnel files, ensures employee personnel files are in compliance, edits files for quality improvement and reports results to supervisor
- Ensures all I9’s are in compliance
- Write and/or attend terminations, PIP, disciplinary meetings
- Post jobs and manage recruiting website account, assist in management of all Indeed listings company-wide
- Accept/process employment applications, coordinate interviews, complete background check process
- Schedule and/or conduct new hire orientation
- Supports Behavioral Health, Home Health an Rehabilitation Services programs to keep personnel charts in accordance with regulatory standards
- Track employee training
- Assist employees with payroll discrepancies, partners with HR Director as needed
