Optimae LifeServices in Washington, Iowa is accepting applications for a full-time Documentation Specialist. A Documentation Specialist is an administrative professional who is responsible for maintenance of company documents to ensure that all documentation is with in compliance. We value a work-life balance so we emphasize working with the supervisors to discuss schedules and strive to have consistency each month.
Duties and responsibilities include: * Reviewing, organizing, and filing documentation in a timely manner for quality insurance and compliance. * Provide training to staff on how to complete documentation effectively and efficiently and chart completion staff progress. * Maintaining paper and online systems for documentation for tracking purposes. * Updating their Supervisor and Program Director regularly regarding overall documentation processes and systems, and staff performance. * Collaborate with the Electronic Health Records Implementation Specialist for training purposes. * Other duties may include filing, scanning, faxing, composing reports, and data entry. * We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check. No experience necessary, we will train.
Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: – Ability to foster communication, cooperation, and problem solving between people. – Ability to promote quality assurance by developing, organizing, and maintaining systems of accountability. – Understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. – Utilize tools specific to training staff.
