The Behavioral Health Business Specialist, under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Operations Officer, will assist with business services duties within the Behavioral Health division. The Behavioral Health Business Specialist ensures business tasks are managed effectively and efficiently, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize duties and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must possess a knowledge of basic computer programs such as Word and Excel
- Knowledge of behavioral health services preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates behavior consistent with Optimae’s vision, mission and core values
- Provides support to Behavioral Health and Business Services departments regarding Behavioral Health business duties
- Works with program leadership and business services to develop monitoring systems that report on key program business metrics
- Supports program initiatives and standards set by Optimae LifeServices
- Facilitates coordination and compliance with company policies and procedures and other regulatory entities
- Assists with accounts receivable (AR) management in conjunction with the Revenue Cycle and Finance departments by assisting with special payer projects, customer statement management and contract billing
- Maintains understanding of credentialing and eligibility processes and monitors to improve processes and reduce risk
- Assists with Electronic Health Record (EHR) testing, tool and process development and basic program support
- Coordinates marketing efforts in partnership with Communications and Public Relations Department
- Provides support in onboarding of professional and administrative employees
- Participates as a key member of the Regional Office Manager Team, Regional EHR Collaboration Team and other teams as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
