Job Summary:
The Associate Regional Director utilizes leadership skills while balancing important time sensitive initiatives and urgent issues through daily decision-making. The Associate Regional Director works with local teams to create, improve and implement processes while increasing satisfaction of Optimae’s staff and customer experience. This position requires the ability to work at both our Cedar Rapids and Waterloo offices weekly. The Associate Regional Director works with human resource personnel to improve the hiring process and decrease turnover. This position works directly with customers with disabilities, as needed.
Duties:
Directs and manages with Regional Director
Facilitates Administrative team meetings with Regional Director to collaborate and assess priorities, identify important initiatives, develop plans to successfully carry out these initiatives, set expectations and evaluate performance/progress towards goals.
Create, Modify and Implement goal-directed processes related to finances, leadership, personnel, teamwork, quality service provision, technology, transportation and equipment, quality assurance and growth.
Collaborates with local leadership teams to share important information, give and receive feedback regarding managing program operations, inter-agency collaboration, training, safety and wellness.
Provide leadership and management of Optimae site homes, including partnerships with local property owners and customer intake processes
Hire, coach, train, supervise, evaluate and perform disciplinary action with staff, as needed
Direct oversight of customer services to ensure quality of care
Assist with the collection and measuring of metrics and surveys
Facilitate interagency IHH, Case Management and other collaborative meetings.
Required to participate in on-call rotation including weekends and holidays
Utilize leadership to execute decisions and manage crises
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of management experience in a human services related field preferred, or an equivalent of ten (10) or more years of experience in the human service field.
- Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance
- Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check
- Must have the ability to analyze and use data. Knowledge of management information systems is required.
