EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in an office setting preferred.
- Experience in serving a wide range of socio-economic and health backgrounds preferred.
- Computer training a plus.
JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant must possess skills in office management/human resources/payroll. In addition the Administrative Assistant serves as receptionist and first point of contact for employees and customers. Applicants should have experience in an administrative role, knowledge of software packages, good interpersonal and time management skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
- Crisis assessment for administrator
- Assist administrator with budgetary matters
- Compile revenue to wage reports
- Do banking
- Keep accurate books
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Receive and process applications
- Schedule job interviews
- New-hire paperwork
- Payroll, mileage and expense claims
- Schedule core training
- Handle staff insurance enrollment and other needs
- Scheduling
- Construct and maintain excellent employee files
- Conduct exit interviews
- Schedule in-services and trainings and track attendance
- Handle work comp claims and attend doctor’s visits
- Maintain OSHA logs
RECEPTIONIST
- Answer phone, route calls and take messages
- Handle and sort mail
- Order and replenish supplies as needed
- File
PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS
- Ability to lift and carry:
- up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
- over 40 lbs. rarely.
- Ability to climb stairs while carrying objects.
- Normal vision with correction.
- Normal range of hearing with corrections.
- Frequently perform daily duties which involve standing, bending, pivoting, squatting, kneeling, and crouching.
