Pat Huebner-Vaughn brings nearly two decades of counseling experience in addictions to her position as a therapist at Optimae Behavioral Health Services.
Pat uses attachment therapy to inform her practice and uses a variety of therapeutic methods including motivational interviewing, insight, experiential and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Her experience in addictions treatment has made her proficient in helping customers understand, reduce and manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and triggers to emotional and physical trauma symptoms. Pat also specializes in play therapy and emerging neurobiological advances in mental and emotional health.
Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Western Illinois University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Iowa.
She currently serves customers in Fort Madison.
