Location: Iowa City, Iowa
The Regional Quality Assurance Specialist conducts regularly scheduled reviews of service related forms and documentation to assure compliance with Administrative Code definitions and agency adopted best practices. The RQAS collects accurate data from the reviews and surveys and compiles reports for the regional leadership team, the services improvement team and the core team. The RQAS develops and conducts trainings and mentoring programs to address issues identified by the reviews and data.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree and two years experience or and associate degree and four years experience in provision required
Oversight or coordination of services for persons with mental disabilities is required
Basic computer skills are required
Duties:
Assists in creating regional and corporate surveys
Compiles collected information into data base
Develops plans of correction
Identifies needed technical assistance or resources for implementation of action steps for expected outcomes
Monitors effectiveness of the implemented plans of correction
Provides initial service provision training to service coordinators
Provides a professional and effective role model for all staff
