Susan Fowler joined Optimae Behavioral Health Services’ team of therapists in 2019 as a licensed master social worker (LMSW). In 2021, she earned her licensed independent social worker (LISW) designation.
Susan coordinates, directs and plans customer care related to the treatment of mental health diagnoses. Her varied experiences stemming from working with all populations, including those in disaster recovery and refugee resettlement situations, brings a multi-faceted approach to her work. Susan’s primary approach to treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy. Her particular areas of interest include domestic violence, complex trauma and support for military families.
A member of the National Association of Social Workers, Susan earned her master of science degree in social work from the University of Southern California. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology, with an emphasis in child advocacy.
