Rochelle Phelps brings more than 15 years of experience serving children, adults and families to her position as a therapist at Optimae Behavioral Health Services. Her experience includes working with military families stationed overseas and school social work.
Ms. Phelps works with adolescents and adults, specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, military trauma and women’s issues, as well as mental health issues that co-occur with substance abuse. She also focuses on providing services for individuals with chronic mental illness in residential settings.
Ms. Phelps uses a variety of treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Ms. Phelps graduated from the University of Iowa with honors, earning a Master’s degree in social work. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
She currently serves customers in Fairfield, Van Buren and Bloomfield.
