Eva Ford is a licensed independent social worker (LISW). Ford has had years of experience assisting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, transitional life phases and traumatic life events. She enjoys serving people of all ages and stages of life from preschool to adolescence, adulthood to senior citizens.
Ford has practical skills and expertise she has used in schools, hospitals, homes, residential centers, clinics and employment agencies. She utilizes strength-based therapeutic approaches grounded in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies as well as sensorimotor interventions. Theraplay is utilized as an intervention with children to assist parents in supporting positive behavioral change.
Ford is a graduate of St. Ambrose University, where she earned her master’s degree in social work.
