Welcome to another installment of Optimae Spotlight, where we showcase those among our ranks who have gone above and beyond.
For this week’s installment, we celebrate Amanda Stice.
Angie Torres of the Great River Region would like to nominate Amanda Stice!
Stice is the program director of Lee County Community Services and began her tenure in 2018. Per Torres, Stice is “always willing to go above and beyond for her customers and staff.”
Torres said, “Its been a pretty rough year trying to swim through COVID and deal with the horrible staff shortage not only from staff being off either positive for COVID or having symptoms, but also having so many openings for staff and not getting applicants. In the past three weeks Amanda has worked around the clock doing billables and getting other tasks done to be able to keep her programs running.”
There were times that Stice worked for over 24 hours, and practically moved into site homes.
Torres added, “One of her favorite Core Values must be teamwork because she has shown everyone that no matter what your position you do what you have to do to keep the customers happy and safe and continuing to work on goals.”
Amanda Stice, there are reportedly many heroes who are following your lead and stepping up to the challenge, and for that we at Optimae offer you a heartfelt thankyou!
